OOLONG WULONG

The oolong – also known as wulong teas – is halfway between green teas and black teas, and yes, here too, China and Taiwan are the origin. The right question is, now we call it oolong or wulong? In practice, we can use both terms, both of which hold true – the question is, which came first? The name wulong was used first and only later came oolong for these teas but both words are correct, both can be used with confidence.

These lightly fermented rolled and baked teas exist in many “shades” and, even during their preparation, use many different drying times and modes to make the best tea. There are some of them that are little different from the so-called green tea and there are some that are almost black tea. There are countless ways to describe the experience and taste of these types of tea – tea lovers have always been a fan of oolongs. We are not surprised at all, as it is simply for them… Tasty and fragrant, easy to make delicious and has many health benefits. It also invigorates, thanks to its caffeine content, which is justifiably popular…
