Badarai japanese teacup and “buddhist flow” 01. ceramics traveled around Taipei and its surroundings. He visited many of Ximending’s many locations, most of the emblematic sites of the Elephant mountain, the Jiufenen, tea mountains and plantations, and the aura of many urban monuments and churches, “hecked” and unexpectedly appeared and deployed – faithfully to the conceptualist motifs of the performances provided by show art.

The handmade unique pottery was potterywheeled and glazed, burnt on high fire.

Packaging: Wrapped in orange colored, signed with ink and stamped with stone canvas, wrapped in a non-current chinese newspaper, embraced with Japanese nylon packing.

The Kitsimono Workshop is always packed with recycled Japanese and Chinese printing and other packaging materials, whenever possible. With recycled packaging materials for environmental protection, environmentally conscious thinking, and eastern ceramics. We refer back to the packing habits of the XX.th century.

If you are looking for a chawan for a Japanese tea ceremony, then it may be a difficult task for hell or a fatally simple. If you are just looking for it, almost any chawan may be appropriate if you hit a certain standard. If, on the other hand, we do not search on an intuitive basis, but rather on a conceptual basis, the more expectations we have about imagined ceramics, the more difficult it is… The situation is different for a creator. If there are ideas and thoughts about the tea cup then the pottery wheel will spin for it and the glazes will contact each other – then we’ll see if it succeeds.

Tea in the Japanese culture is definitely different to those who enjoy the taste of tea in the tea or the common sense of tea. The medical, pleasure and spiritual aspects of tea are just as conventions. A chawan is suitable for consume matcha, but of course not only… One of our most interesting meetings with Japanese teacups was in Taiwan, where Chinese tea was offered from badarai chawan and we consumed tea in an endlessly dissolved atmosphere under rather urban conditions. It was fun to relax every rule in a pleasant company and enjoy the luxury of Japanese ceramics and Chinese tea while listening to hip hop chill (!)
