With its help, we can easily break it down and take a teaspoon of tea from our pressed tea later. Due to its design, it only “destroys” the pressed fibrous tea to the minimum necessary. With the outward movement from the center of the tea, the tea leaves adhering to each other can be loosened nicely. The teak knife is made with a Chinese carved wooden handle with a threaded end – so you can store it safely or take it with you if necessary. It is an indispensable tool for making cultured and elegant Chinese Pu – erh teas and pressed green and white teas. One of the tools for loving tea for something or for yourself is not to miss the tea-breaking knife!
Although the tea breaker is not sharpened – we do not advise this because it cannot be used well – it is always used with care! We always “insert” into the tea with a pushing motion away from us – radially outwards.
