Description

Da Hong Pao chinese red oolong tea – 60g:

Da Hong Pao is a well-known Chinese unique tea that is not only associated with healing legends but is also popular and known for its taste and fragrance. Traditional Chinese 100% natural Chinese tea from Fujian (Wuyi Mountains) is not necessarily taken every year and is therefore considered one of the most sought after and at times temporarily unavailable. It is also listed among red and oolong teas, but in rare cases also among the described puffer teas (presumably because there are some of them slightly fermented). We call it oolong and hold it, even though it is not typically Wulong-like twisted tea. There is no doubt about its quality – so it is a pity to go into it, its price also reflects. Its preparation is similar to Pu-erh teas – though the soaking times here are shorter a bit. The color of its brew is more like that of red (also known as black) teas, reflecting darker oolongs.

Suggestion for preparation:

With 1-2 dl of water at 90-95 ° C, pour 5 to 7 g of tea (about as much as one hand can loosely hold at one hand) and leave to simmer for a short time, for example 20 to 25 seconds. So, of course, the other decoctions are soaked a bit longer and you can expect about 5 decoctions to be made to enjoy the delicious quality.
