It is made like as Japanese tenpai or netsuke, this kingfisher sculpture resting on a tree stump. Made of hand-patterned and carved stone tiles, which were burnt on fire and covered with pale greenish and brownish glaze. It is a unique piece that can be placed as an ornament in itself, but can also be added to the bonsai as a complementary ornamental element beside plant compositions. Fits for modern interior but even classic interior design.
