Japanese matcha set in black – tools for making Japanese green tea:

Tools for making Japanese green tea in one package. The almost indispensable tools for making classic or traditional Japanese matcha tea can now be purchased bundled together. The package contains four parts. It has a chasen, a chawan, a kusenaoshi and a chasaku. Each item in the package is a product made in Japan.

chasen:
It is used to “beat” and mix powdered green tea – matcha – with water. This chasen is a handmade work classically made of bamboo. It is an indispensable tool for handmade Japanese matcha teas and tea ceremonies. You can use it to make a pleasant matchatea from powdered green tea.

chawan:
Kuro chawan – Japanese matcha tea ceramic gift box. Anyone who is addicted to or just a lover of Japanese teas can hardly afford not to have at least one so-called kuro chawan. Although this category does not differ much from classic chawan ceramics, it is such an old classic of traditional Japanese tea that it is suitable to use even from passion. In shape and size, the cup has the usual diameter of 11 cm and in terms of height it also traditionally represents a size of 7.5 cm. What makes such a chawan unique? The word kuro means color, black. Interestingly, in many cases, kuro chawans are not literally black, they only have a glaze that looks completely black and any glaze effect that does not show off is an elegant solution. In these pots, the color of matcha (powdered Japanese green tea) is extremely vivid and highlights both the aesthetics of chawan and the fantastically green color of the tea. This is how to make tea with color experiences… The product is in a (stylish) black cardboard gift box.

chasaku:
A spoon-like device made of bamboo and bent, with which matcha tea powder is dispensed or placed in a tea-making vessel or chawan. It is usually necessary to make two moderately humped “spoons” from the matcha to the chawan.

kusenaoshi:

Chasen (matcha broom) holder in ceramic black. This pottery made in Japan is an essential tea accessory for matcha fans. Anyone who is a practitioner or lover of Japanese tea ceremonies or tea ceremonies will sooner or later feel the need for this pottery made of ceramics. With its help, the condition of the chasen can be kept at an impeccable level for as long as possible. It restores the original shape of the matcha broom and remains in perfectly usable condition until the next tea ceremony or matcha making.
