Jongtolliee Assam tea – green tea 60g:
Jongtolliee shows an interesting world of Assamese green teas. Known specifically as soft tea, the fruity flavor (tea character) is also surprisingly mildly astringent – yet it is a very enjoyable tea and not accidentally popular with Assamese green tea lovers. This slightly elongated leafy tea has been known to the world since 1874 when it was discovered by the Englishman John Elliot. So he started for world fame from a small tea garden that gives a greenish-yellow decoction. Interestingly, two types of recommendations are the most common and the most accepted (you can find them by scrolling to the bottom of the description) – it’s worth trying both methods!
The origin of tea: Assam
Quality / grading of tea: TGFOP1
Recommended method of preparation: First boil the tea water to 100°C and then allow it to cool to 70-80°C. Then pour in the fibrous tea and let stand for 2 minutes, then fill into cups.
Another method of preparation is recommended: Pour the fibrous tea immediately with the tea water reached 100°C and drink it from smaller cups after a soaking time of 3 minutes. (Kitsimono webshop recommends this method if you choose this method: If you pour green tea with 100 ° C tea water, you will designate a world of taste – which can be a borderline among Assamese green teas – so as not to lose the soak the real enjoyment value of the tea for 1 to 2 minutes instead of 3 minutes.)
