Contemporary art graphics – Chasen and japanese garden stone lantern – is part of a series that explores the sometimes imagined and sometimes real relationship between tea, ballet and bonsai. We could say that the Japanese and European graphic approaches fuse in the image, but in fact, the monochrome print on paper was created along the graphic values. The graphics were made in one copy – just like the rest of the series. Collage-like “block” prints and indispensable stone lanterns in the Japanese garden world focus on the physical, spherical and sacred worlds.
Paper-based graphics are offered for sale with plywood and frames. The frame (the overall size of the image) is 51.5 x 71.5 cm.
